A causa di due dischi SCSI difettosi il server in questione risulta down al momento; i lavori di ripristino sono gia’ in corso.

Wegen zweier gleichzeitig defekter SCSI-Festplatten ist der Server im Betreff offline; die Wiederherstellungsarbeiten sind bereits in Gange.

Customer Impact:
Customer connectivity and uptime should not be affected during the connection upgrade (NOV 9th).
During the upgrade on the coreswitch in the DC1 all connected servers will sustain temporary downtimes.

Some other interesting news:
1) No activation fee for dedicated servers
2) XXL-servers with Gigabit/s-Uplink

1) During november no activation fee will be charged for new server orders!

2) The new XXL-servers are now connected with 1 Gbit/s to our backbone, providing high-bandwidth.

Kundeneinfluss / Beeinträchtigung für Kunden:

Wir gehen davon aus, dass die Ausfallzeit für die Aufrüstung der Leitung nur wenige Minuten betragen wird.
Während der Arbeiten am Coreswitch im Rechenzentrum #1 werden temporär alle angeschlossenen Server offline gehen.

Hier noch zwei interessante Neuigkeiten im November:
1) Keine Aktivierungskosten für Server
2) XXL-Server ab sofort mit 1 Gbit/s-Uplink

1) Für alle Server-Neubestellungen im November zahlen Stammkunden keine Einrichtungsgebühr!

2) Die neuen XXL-Server sind jetzt mit einem Gigabit-Uplink ausgestattet und bieten damit ein Höchstmaß an Bandbreite.

Impatto per clienti:
L’upgrade della connessione DeCIX (Monaco-Francoforte) comportera’ un re-routing, ma non dovrebbero’ esserci downtimes (9 novembre 2007).
I lavori di manutenzione ed aggiornamenti dell’infrastruttura di switching comportano downtimes temporanei per tutti i servers connessi nel datacenter (21 novembre 2007).

Colgo l’occasione per presentare due offerte interessanti per il novembre:
1) Attivazione gratuita per server dedicati
2) Server XXL ora con uplink da 1 Gbit/s
