Dobbiamo effettuare un reboot forzato di alcuni servers nel datacenter MUC2 a causa di un cambio PDU necessario. Il downtime sara’ minimo, in caso di complicazioni per favore scrivete a support@server24.it.

We’re performing emergeny maintenance of the backup-server “backup1.serverclienti.com” due to a disk-failure. The service will be up and avaiable as soon as possible.

Stiamo procedendo con dei lavori di manutenzione d’emergenza e non pianificati sul server di backup “backup1.serverclienti.com” a causa di un disco difettoso. Il servizio sara’ ripristinato al piu’ presto.

Wir führen gerade nicht geplante Wartungsarbeiten am Backup-Server “backup1.serverclienti.com” wegen einer defekten Festplatte durch. Der Server wird baldmöglichst wieder online gestellt.

Al momento e’ in corso un forte attacco Denial-of-Service distribuito sulla nostra infrastruttura di firewalling. Dato che l’attacco ha iniziato a causare problemi di performance, abbiamo riconfigurato i nostri sistemi, apportando filtri all’edge del nostro network. Ora l’infrastruttura di firewalling si sta riprendendo, entro 10 minuti non ci dovrebbero’ piu’ essere problemi di performance.

UPDATE: Una seconda ondata di pacchetti e’ stata mandata pochi istanti fa, ma l’ultima riconfigurazione del firewall sembra aver portato rimedio. Salvo imprevisti i problemi di performance per servers dietro al firewall dovrebbero’ essere risolti. Inoltre abbiamo provveduto ad abilitare gli algoritmi di “threat-detection” della nuova versione Cisco PIX 8.0(2) per tutti i servers managed. Al momento i seguenti indirizzi IP vengono bloccati dal firewall per tentativi di portscan:

Se ritrovaste uno dei Vs indirizzi IP elencati qui sopra per sbaglio, per favore contattateci affinche’ possiamo toglierVi da questa blacklist. Normalmente vengono inseriti indirizzi IP che tentano port-scans oppure mandano floods o altro traffico internet non consideratoro lecito, a volte pero’ mandato anche a causa di un virus sul proprio PC o da un PC membro di una cosidetta botnet. Una botnet che sospettiamo sia stata attivata per attaccare parti speicifiche della nostra rete.
Questa misura si e’ resa necessari per gli attacchi in corso, a quanto pare fatti in modo specifico per aggredire l’infrastruttura di firewalling ed i servers protetti da questa. Mi scuso fin d’ora per gli eventuali disagi, posso assicurare che stiamo dando il massimo per i nostri clienti.

Currently the KPN-upstream (DC #2) is down, KPN-technician have already been informed and routing has been reconfigured within 30 seconds, so that there was no noticeable downtime. There is enough capacity provided by our other carriers and backup-solutions.

Al momento l’upstream KPN (DC #2) e’ down, i tecnici della KPN stanno gia’ lavorando per risolvere il problema ed il routing dopo 30 secondi e’ stato riconfigurato in modo tale che non vi e’ stato downtime. La connettivita’ dei nostri altri carriers nonche’ delle soluzioni di backup sono piu’ che sufficienti al momento.

Derzeit gibt es Routing-Probleme mit KPN in München in unserem zweiten Rechenzentrum, die Techniker von KPN arbeiten bereits mit Hochdruck an der Problembehebung. Nach ca. 30 Sekunden wurde das Routing automatisch umgestellt, sodass es praktisch zu keinem Downtime kam. Die Anbindung erfolgt derzeit über unsere drei anderen Carriers sowie Backup-Lösungen und es sind genügend Ressourcen vorhanden.

Impatto per clienti:
L’installazione del generatore di corrente elettrica aggiuntivo a sostegno di quelli attuali, gli aggiornamenti a router e switches da parte del carrier Level3 non dovrebbero’ avere risvolti negativi sui clienti, dato che ci sono soluzioni di backup “hot-standby”, quindi salvo imprevisti non ci saranno downtimes. In caso di problemi gravi il routing e la connettivita’ passera’ attraverso il nuovo datacenter MUC2, quindi non prevedimo downtime prolungati.
